LOONY TOAD QUACK LTD UK 2010

Peaktime laser fire and wicked energy. What a way to fly the new flag for The Loops of Fury. Quality, quality, quality! 5/5 ***** " [InTheMix Magazine]

Where many young guys grow up falling in love with rock and roll, it was the early releases from the Prodigy, Crystal Method, Propellerheads and, that most influential of outfits, The Chemical Bothers that really got under their skin.

The Loops of Fury are Two Brisbane boys, previously known as Hyperion, reborn under a new banner, with a mighty sound that perfectly encapsulates their own personal ELECTRO-TECHNO Manifesto. Imagine the Chemical’s Battle Weapons mashed up with the turbo-charged drive of Marco Bailey or Brodinski capped off with the production skills of a Dyson or a Gartner and you’d be in the right ballpark for the Loops’ take-no-prisoners sound.

The duo have performed at some of Australia’s biggest festivals – Parklife, Future Music and Stereosonic – and their tunes have been picked up and thrashed by a diverse range of DJs like; Sasha, Kissy Sell Out, D Ramirez, Plump DJ’s, Meat Katie…

"I think along with Boys Noize's ‘Jeffer’, ‘Flick The Switch’ is probably the best electro tune I've heard so far this year..." [Squeaky Bleeps Magazine]

Their debut single hit the Top 3 on Beatport and spent no less than three months in the Top 100, and since then demand has soared, with a succession of shows across their native Australia leaving moshpits quaking & foundations shaken. Label boss Elite Force felt highly enough of them to entrust his U&A imprint first ever compilation to them, and they somehow managed to bring many of the diverse strands of this eclectic & boundary-pushing label together in a seamless mix that is ‘Tech:Funk’ (U&A Recordings Vol.1).

"They literally just blew the jam off my toast. Magic. 5/5" [i-DJ Magazine]

With a series of high profile remixes and a number of key summer festival shows in the pipeline, the future couldn’t look brighter for The Loops of Fury.
